STŌIC FAQS

WHAT IS STŌIC?

STŌIC was built with one mission: to provide athletes a proven, effective, and empowering training environment that delivers real results.

Our team is made up of professionally educated coaches and actively competing athletes, all united by a shared passion for Functional Fitness. Why? Because we believe this style of training translates directly into everyday life—helping you move better, feel stronger, and stay engaged without burning out.

At STŌIC, fitness isn't about chasing a certain look—it's about unlocking what your body can do. We shift the focus from aesthetics to performance, helping our members build mental resilience, confidence, and a healthier relationship with training.

Our facility offers space for everyone—from competitive athletes to beginners looking for a supportive, welcoming community. We’re proud to train individuals of all ages and backgrounds, but every member shares one belief:

Fitness in life is essential, not optional.

DOES THIS KIND OF TRAINING SUPPORT OTHER SPORTS?

STOIC is exceptional in this. Our youth programs are built with athletic performance in mind.
Particularly by developing broad athletic qualities like strength, power, coordination, mobility, conditioning, and work capacity.

For youth athletes, the key is how the training is programmed. It should complement their primary sport rather than create excessive fatigue or interfere with sport-specific development.

I'M NOT SURE IF MY CHILD IS 'FIT' OR 'ATHLETIC' ENOUGH?

They don’t need to be. Our youth training is designed to build fitness and athletic ability from the ground up. We meet each athlete at their current level and help them develop strength, confidence, coordination, and fitness over time.

WHERE IS THE GYM LOCATED AND IS THERE PARKING?

STŌIC. is located at:

1 ADELAIDE STREET NORTH, Unit 1, in London, Ontario.

It sits centrally in the Adelaide Business Park, turning West off of Adelaide Street, just north of the river.

Whether you're coming from downtown London or the airport, the gym is just a short drive away.

If you're using public transit;

From downtown London, go to a major bus stop like Dundas & Richmond and take LTC Route 16 (northbound) or Route 92 Express if available, as both travel along Adelaide Street North. Get off near Adelaide St N at Hamilton Road or Little Simcoe Street, then walk 2–5 minutes south to reach 1 Adelaide Street North. Always check LTC real-time bus info for the next departure and any detours.

Visitors will find plenty of free parking in the plaza.

MY CHILD HAS NEVER DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. WHAT IF THEY DONT LIKE IT?

They may not—and that’s OK. Just like our adult members, sometimes we need to experience something before we feel comfortable committing. Sometimes we know right away; other times, we need a little more time.

That’s why we offer Juniors three weeks of free weekend classes before settling into the membership that suits them best.

Our kids need to feel confident and comfortable in the environment, without feeling like training is something they have to do. It should be something they want to do.
